    The first one is particularly interesting. It composition is exact the image one would use to teach linear and point perspective, vanishing point and line at infinity. This composition demonstrates how to create depth in a two dimensional image.

    I remember all that stuff from Technical Drawing when I was in high school in the ‘70’s.

    We seem to be getting plenty of study of how to render perspective this week. The mid tonal rendering of the buildings is quite nice. Maybe a little more contrast.

    Very interesting formations. If there weren't a tree in the way I would like to see this with the camera location to the right pointing at a slightly different angle. Often times with landscape, the best angle for the shot is not practical. Nice tonality on the "chimneys." Where is this?

    I think that gives the image more depth and calls attention to the texture of the building's stone. I like the new image you included.

    I was trying to get a view through the trees and this was the only place where there was a break...

    It's in a little village, Albiez Montrond in the French Savoie
