Sidewalk mandala

Thanks. The composition was luck of the draw as these birds are fast and acrobatic. I knew as soon as I reviewed it, it would be a good b&w candidate.
That's an intriguing image. I like how they have painted in the darker areas and left the original pebbles for the shapes.
I have been aware of the concept of Mandalas for a long time but I don't think one has grabbed me quite like that one. Odd because there is no symmetry and it all seems quite random.
Bryan,
Thank you.
That's actually a shadow on the ground of a tabletop above it. The shapes are cuts in the metal patio table. It's an intriguing piece.
if you look at the shadow long enough, it becomes almost three dimensional, don't you think?

Very interesting composition. Even more interesting is how you maintained the geometric integrity of the round top without casting a shadow.
I don’t think so. I had to look it up, and I’m pretty sure that’s not it. Not sure what it is actually.

Great.
Light and textures looking good here.
Really invites you in, I want to walk in and see how deep it goes.
