That's Okay, Andre. I'm sure many photographers both Pro and Amateur (and in-between) own more than one brand. The person writing this post is no exception. 😁

It rained in Salzburg so we sheltered for a while in the Dom. I'm glad we did, the ceilings and inside of the dome were extraordinary. Handheld with the X-H1 and XF16-55mm

I'm wondering if the bronze statue gave someone the idea for the Lord of the Nazgul in Lord of the Rings film.

I really like this one. At f/22 I can't tell if those are dust spots or sun spots. Good work as usual.

The extraordinary pleasures of older churches and cathedrals are its artwork and creativity. I took a few images of the Sistine chapel while sitting on one of the side benches. Reluctant to post them because photography was discouraged. Michelangelo was a talented and patient artist.

4 shots from a walk with the 90mm f/2. I tried to make it work as a macro lens with the ants, with so and so results :)

Finally starting to see more birds again in some of the wildlife areas we visit locally. This Egret and Heron, and a few of their friends, were pretty active in our visit to one of my favorite areas for birding. Rather encouraging after the bad luck during a couple of previous visits to this location and another.

    Thanks :)
I couldn't help feeling sorry for the Meadow Pipit having to satisfy such an enormous appetite whilst not increasing the Pipit population at all.

    Regards,
    Joe.

    They are indeed sun spots.
Despite dialling in -5ev, f22 and 1/32000 was needed to get the shot.

    Regards,
    Joe.

Haven't gotten out with the Fuji much in the past week or so. Not much to post - sorry.

That said, the Canadian wildfire smoke moved into eastern Pennsylvania with a vengeance today. I took this pic a few minutes ago - "my" mountain is visible in the background.  Everything has a yellow tinge.

    6-7-23 - Smoke from Canadian wildfires.jpg

We spend each fall hunting the in west and we've been through this in recent years in the west, but I don't ever remember seeing this kind of smoke here.  Made me feel like I was out west. This one actually chased us across the prairie with 40 mph winds.

    10-14-22 - Prairie fire.jpg

We were camping in this little town (Zortman, MT, Population 48) as the fire came over the mountain

    9-18-20 - Zortman Montana - population 43.jpg

Nancy and I did our daily pre-gym cardio this morning (consists of driving to the bottom of "my" mountain, parking and then walking up to the top and back down - 2 miles).  The smoke wasn't as bad as it is now.  The local news is telling people to stay inside and our local schools dismissed early.  I'm not sure the air inside my house is any better than outside. I'm wondering if this is just more panicky "the sky is falling" media baloney; or if there is a real reason for otherwise healthy (but older) people to stay inside.  I don't want to miss our exercise unless there is a real risk.
