Another Pano from the Isle of Capri.
Just lends itself to a wonderful image. 6-Image PANO using PTGui.
Bob
Very good monochrome and subject.

Oh nice Bob, I think it is also called Il Duomo.
We were there back in 2010. We climbed up the uneven stairs of the tower.
Cheers

Hi Artur
Nice pics. Looks like it was a fun event and probably quite loud too with so many guitars
Cheers

Really nice work Bob, very detailed and impressive!
Nice pics André.
The 55-200 seems a decent lens and it's great when you can get close.
I have taken pics of local Grebes in Sydney but nothing as interesting as these.
Cheers

Thanks Paul 👍
It is indeed a very good tele lens and about as big as I want to carry
on my cycling trips 😉
André
Thx !

Nice shots from Porto.
The Tale of Old 7508 - Roll On
Good B&W.
More from Serra da Estrela, Portugal.
Last week I returned to Serra da Estrela with the family (I was there also 3 weeks ago), and finally managed to do the trail between Lagoa Comprida and Covão dos Conchos, near the town of Seia. When I was there the first time the fog was so intense we couldn't see a thing, and ended up not doing the walk. This time the weather was nice.
Lagoa Comprida, panorama assembled in Panorama Factory. We can see the glacial landscape, with the erratic blocks left over after the glacial melt, dispersed over the granitic bedrock.
My second time shooting this show. The first time through I was zooming in too closely and “chopped the blades” too frequently. This day, I used the 70-300 (instead of the 100-400) which had the side benefit of eliminating the monopod. I also switched to the X100V/TCL combination as the skaters got close — As I did here.
Some would argue that I switched prematurely to get this shot of my niece’s jump. There are plenty of close-ups from the day too, but I like the space and mood of this composition.
Uncle brag: While her true passion is being part of a competitive Synchronized Skating Team, and this particular shot is from an ensemble performance, Zoe’s a USFSA Gold Medalist for her solos too.
