Hello, Everyone!
Welcome to the first in a weekly staple of image-sharing with your Fuji X cams! The untimely closing of DPR may have created a vacuum for an “institution” on the Fuji X forum of the Weekly Thread. However, as I stated in the first thread here, Bob and Alan graciously created a place for us to call our own. With hope, and, most importantly, many contributions from you, it will continue to thrive on DPRevived! Lastly, since the site does not “yet” make it easy to just roll your cursor over the image to display the EXIF, please include somewhere in your description what model Fuji X and lens were used. And, if for some reason you own a different cam and wish to contribute, please tell us what you are using.
Ultimately, most digital cams these days are capable of capturing great photos. I would doubt, but not exclude, the possibility that most may not be able to distinguish one cam’s photo from another (admittedly with some I can….. but don’t test me 😁). Notwithstanding that view, the thread will be a unique opportunity for those with a passion, great or small, for what Fujifilm has given us, to display their work. Without further ado, the rest below will be posted on a weekly basis as a reminder of some suggestions that will be most helpful to those viewing your work.
This weekly thread serves as a place for those DPRevived.com members who own Fuji gear to share recent work …… specifically, with their Fuji X APS-C cameras. It's just fine for owners to post images made with their “other” cameras, but the idea is to allow owners with Fuji X APS-C cameras to compare notes, tips, and any other helpful hints.
To contribute your image, please respond to the original thread. Please give us a taste by trying to give it a title.....one cannot yet change the subtitle. In addition to uploading/embedding your image, please tell us a little about the image if you wish. It is helpful to some of us who are less traveled to talk about the location of your photo if possible. If you can provide details such as camera, settings and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images.
If you wish C&C (comments/critique) please indicate that in your post. In this thread it should not be assumed everyone wants C&C. However, if you want specific feedback (composition, exposure, subject, etc.), don’t hesitate to mention it. It may be helpful to respondents what your needs may be.
Thanks,
Bob, your humble host
PS…… Post away!
