You may have inadvertently “double tapped” the insert widget. You can go back and edit your post, removing the text that inserts the second copy of the image.
In the above example I accidentally inserted my image Italian Art twice. The selected text needs to be cut or the picture will appear twice in my post.

Taken with my new X-T5 with the Fuji 80 mm - used the Godox V860 III to shoot handheld with 1/250. The resolution was very tempting and it seems to be the right decision.

A Grebe from this morning.
Google Lens says it's a Little Grebe so I'll go with that

View of the southern end of the island from offshore. Sailing was a bit more, umm... "sporty" than I would have liked. Winds are even higher today - I think it will be a beach day. Don't want any more near-death experiences like last year.
Looking up Howard Street - a very old, hard-packed sand road in town with ancient graveyards and houses on each side and massive live oaks as a roof. One of Nancy's favorite shopping venues.
This Confederate soldier's grave is on Howard Steet, but there are small graveyards scattered all over the island. Imagine what he saw in his lifetime.

Doors Open Minneapolis is a weekend event that opens the doors of local buildings of interest. Purcell-Cutts house, known as one of the most outstanding examples of Prairie School architecture in the country amongst them.

Seas and winds were a bit too high today for getting our little boat out off-shore, so we hit the beach. Today's beach camp with Joy and Bliss.
This was the one month anniversary of our wedding, so we went out to dinner at a dockside sailor bar and then went to check on Maggie Too's moorings as the sun was going down. My best hat blew into the water (but we rescued it with a boat hook :-) ).
We took an off-road drive out to the beach in the evening, just for fun. Sunset over the marsh - You can see "Teaches' Hole" (where Blackbeard was killed) in the distance. Cool place to sail.
Nancy and the truck on the night beach at the southern end of the island - very remote and very pretty. Don't get stuck here or the tide will take you away!! A kinda romantic one month anniversary for two old folk. You can't do this in Pennsylvania.

A few from my new Rokinon 35mm F1.2 Manual lens. I scored a good deal on it. Being patient on Ebay pays off sometimes. Saw this Rokinon for 225 dollars. I decided to make an offer and figured he would want to hagle a bit, so I offered him 180 dollars, AND HE ACCEPTED IT. Total with tax was 197 dollars to my door. I was a very happy camper.
