Nice image. The texture and light go well together.

A little fun/experiment with apertures on Viltrox 75mm
Been trying to get out with this lens and try it out some more. A local trail has a nice covered/tunnel section to it. Light was definitely not great (mid-day harsh), but I didn't want to leave without something. So . . . a small sample of apertures. Squared the format, reduced the red color (jpeg recipe I had input incorrectly), and cooled the white balance a bit in Apple Photos. All ISO160 on X-T5. Can't remember if I had 1/8 diffusion filter on or not.

Great shot. Makes me think about the history inside the walls. Mono really fits the image.

I'm looking for a likeness in the lichen. No luck! 😁
Thanks @aenoether
I've got it working now 👍

Just Some Neighborhood Blooms.
The amount of colorful blooms is staggering. These 2 are not earth shattering examples of great photography. Just driving around the neighborhood with the X-T5 and the new 70-300 attached one stops the car, gets out and shoots quickly before the neighbors get suspicious. OOC Jpegs, just resized to be under 4mb. No processing whatsoever.

Great Horned Owlet
I was surprised to discover that the owl nest had moved and even more surprised that the parents chose a very busy location in a New York City Park, just a few feet off of a very popular paved walk. Friends tell me that the two owlets fell out of the original nest about a week ago and the parents moved them to this nest. It is about 50 feet up and there are a lot of branches and now leaves in the area making it very hard to get a clean photo. The first photo is a crop to versicle and some off the top and bottom with my Nikon 500 PF on Fuji X-H2s APS-C body and taken from about 50 feet from the nest. The other two were taken from about 100 feet and I've added my 1.7x Nikon TC. These were cropped and processed to remove distractions.

Don't you think it would be appropriate to image-capture the not-to-be licked liked lichen with a Leica? 🤣

Very nice images Morris.
I can imagine how hard that would have been to take as they don't make easy subjects.
Love those eyes in the second shot.

Nice shots Bob.
I often get nervous about photographing flowers outside someone's fence when I am on a walk, but if you don't take it you won't have it.
I recall once a long time ago I was photographing some Cockatoos on someone's lawn from within my car while waiting for my wife to return.
One of the neighbours came up and asked me what I was doing because that house was on the market for sale and something something something.
Anyway I showed him the birds and he was happy and went off to interrogate other people :-)
