Anyone Up for Gladiator Games?
Went back for nicer weather today for the inside of the Colosseum. Took many a photo but one vantage point made me do a hand-held pano. 7 images....PTGui does a very good job with these.
The original is great. Looking forward to being able to post much higher res photos OR create a new Flickr acc only for DPRevived images.

Very cool, Bob. Yes, the image size restriction removes quite a bit from an image. Safe and happy travels!
Barn Swallows
I always enjoy photographing these colorful, fast and maneuverable birds. I spent about an hour photographing them from three angles at Oakland Lake here in New York City on a cloudy day.

Really sweet shot, Bob. Been many years since visiting that spot... makes me want to return.
monochrome
Next week's Thread goes up in about 7 and 1/2 hours even if it from Sorrento, Italy!
Bob
The monochrome adds a feeling of stark and cold so appears more dramatic.
I would go with that if that's what you're looking for.
Cheers

Nice work Bob. We were there about 13 years ago. The pano is a nice idea, provides a view of how it might have felt to be an observer during it's active phase.
Cheers

I like both Artur yet the color image has more to it so it's my choice

Thank you Morris!
Anyone for an Opera or Ballet?
Got in for a tour of La Scala today in Milan. If anyone loves opera, that is the place that made many Italian Composers and performers famous. Here it is lit up and I think they are setting up for a ballet, at least that is what the website said. The image is a pano made up of 3 images. If you read the Fuji X forum I made mention I really need the wide angle zoom for this one. But, when in Rome, try a stitched panorama.
