Hello, everyone and thanks for making Contributions to this worthwhile endeavor,

This weekly thread serves as a place for those DPRevived.com members who own Fuji gear to share recent work …… specifically, with their Fuji X APS-C cameras. It's just fine for owners to post images made with their “other” cameras, but the idea is to allow owners with Fuji X APS-C cameras to compare notes, tips, and any other helpful hints.

To contribute your image, please respond to the original thread. Please include at the top your message a title to reflect what you wish to convey. Consider making it somewhat entertaining… it may add some “spice.” In addition to uploading/embedding your image, please tell us a little about the image if you wish. It is helpful to some of us who are less traveled to talk about the location of your photo if possible. If you can provide details such as camera, settings, and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images.

If you wish C&C (comments/critique) please indicate that in your post. In this thread it should not be assumed everyone wants C&C. However, if you want specific feedback (composition, exposure, subject, etc.), don’t hesitate to mention it. It may be helpful to respondents what your needs may be.

    Thanks,

    Bob, your humble host

    PS…… Post away!

    A Triumphal Arch

    Hello, Everyone,

A description by the internet follows both the image of the entire arch (almost – we were being rushed through to get to our next destination) and one of the inner walls. The following history is from the internet:

The Arch of Titus, located in Rome, was constructed in c. AD 81 by Emperor Domitian to commemorate the deification of his older brother Titus and their victory, along with their father Vespasian, over the Jewish rebellion in Judaea
The Jewish Candelabra, or Menorah, depicted on one of the inner walls of the Arch of Titus, represents the spoils taken by the Romans after the Siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD
The Menorah was an important artifact from the Temple of Jerusalem and a significant symbol of Judaism
The relief on the arch shows Roman soldiers carrying away the spoils of war, including the Menorah, after the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem
This depiction serves as an important record of Roman military victory and a reminder of Rome's power over Judaea
The Menorah later became a symbol of the Jewish diaspora, and the one depicted on the Arch of Titus served as the model for the menorah used as the emblem of the state of Israel

And, hey, let’s see some image posting.

Here's a couple I took on a walk this week. The second one is a Giant Hogweed - which those of an early Genesis era will bring to mind a distinctive song.
    Comments welcomed.

Thanks for posting this. I've never known what that is and now I do! Was this walk near your abode? Looks nice.

The three juveniles seems to be catching jackdaws at the moment. I don't know if they're easier to catch or whether the pigeons have learnt to stay on the ground when the peregrines are about and the jackdaws haven't.

    Hawk on Fence

An Immature Red Tail Hawk decided to land outside my upstairs sliding door and posed for awhile. Here is one of the images captured. 70-300 is a nice lens, even through a dirty glass window.

    X100V Street shots
I had X100V last year for 9 months and sold it for a good profit and recently had another one. It is such a nice camera, I wish it had OIS , it would a perfect match for me particularly with ND filter. But I still dont understand the craze around it. I will possibly take advantage of it and sell this one too. In the end I can get it easily 😉
