What storage site do you use for photo storage?

I currently use Adobe's Portfolio storage, but I would like to use another storage site where I can also use my domain name
Please your advice.

I may be learning something here (and probably won’t answer question, sorry, in advance). I thought that adobe’s “Portfolio” was just a web building site that linked to Lightroom and was “free” to all creative cloud subscribers. I was unaware that it could be used for “storage” of your entire image archive. Can it really store terabytes of images? How is it different than adobe’s “creative cloud” storage?

Are you actually asking about “hosting” so that you can use your own domain name? If so, you can use your own domain name with Adobe portfolio I believe.

Google Drive, Backblaze. I use my own domain name for Google Drive.

I do indeed use the Portfolio with and alongside Lightroom Classic and my storage is 20 gig, which can hold some photos.
I don't really know what the difference is with "creative cloud" and I use my domain name with the Portfolio, but it is only if I left Lightroom Classic.

Old school here. Multiple rotating backup drives, created with a simple robocopy script or two, with off-site copies in bank safe deposit box. (No interest in storing all my private files on a cloud service.)

Local storage with auto backup up on a separate external using Time Machine (Apple), and remotely in BackBlaze. Adobe Portfolio for, well, my portfolio. Shared folders with family/friends in Google Drive. Use Adobe CC space as temporary storage for stuff I'm moving around from LR Mobile to LR Classic. Dropbox as temporary space for sharing/sending/moving stuff that doesn't fit into one of the other categories.

This is a confusing thread. Storing photos in "the cloud" (any cloud service) means you can't use those photos in Lightroom Classic, unless you choose a setting which mirrors the images on your hard drive AND in "the cloud". Nor will the 20 gig of Adobe cloud space work for photos storage through Lightroom Classic, as you can only store lower resolution versions of your images in the Adobe Cloud from Lightroom Classic. So to use that 20 gig of Adobe cloud space via Lightroom Classic, the only reasons to put photos there is to share with others, or to allow you to work on them via some mobile device. You can't really use that 20 gig of Adobe cloud space via Lightroom Classic for "storage".

Now reading between the lines here, it seems as if you may be looking for a cloud service that provides space for BACKUPS of your photos. You never used the word "backups". Is that really what you want?

I use Dropbox for storage + an HDD + 2x M2 NVMe (for fast access) the total is less than 6Tb

Whatever will not be needed online, will be stored later in HDD (8T each).

Dropbox feature helps:
You can decide what part of your archive reside ALSO locally on your Computer.
So you'll be able to work online on that part of your archives.
When you're back connected, Dropbox will Sync both archives.

I have a full copy of Dropbox locally saved, one way or the other.

Along with my physical backups, I use Amazon Photos as my main online "backup"/ storage site. The service is included with our Prime membership (for now). Even though Amazon is persona non grata for us ex-DPReview peeps, I will still use it for shopping and other services. It's relatively easy to set up automatic backups of specified folders on my Mac desktop and iPhone. The only thing it's not good at is deleting multiple files; it won't allow multiple file selection, so one has to make sure their files intended for backup are prioritized.

I specifically said you need to mirror the photos so they are both in the cloud and on your computer's hard disk in order to use the photos in Lightroom Classic. So my post is correct.

Just Google Drive. I use it for backup and to synch photos across locations.

Wordpress? SquareSpace? There are lots of hosting sites for photo galleries.

You could take a look at SmugMug. They have a product, which sounds as if it would work for you, which allows unlimited storage at full resolution, and you can upload straight from Lightroom, for instance, or from your phone or... You can use one of the available templates to display your photos, if you wish, and you can choose who can see each folder, from The World to just yourself. It is easy to use, you just upload, and SmugMug takes care of how they are displayed, depending on the device the viewer is using. Apparently, retrieving photos from SmugMug is just as easy, but I have never done it. They also have a very useful 24/7 help-desk.
Having said all that, if you pay annually, it is $128, or about 115€, which is over your 100€ limit, but since it seems to tick so many boxes, you may still like to consider it.

You can take a look at mine if you like, to get an idea, but it is one of those projects of mine on the back burner, which hasn't moved in ages, so it is very much a work in progress in its infancy. Maybe writing this will trigger me to give it some more love and attention, so thanks in advance for doing that!
