What was in bloom last night: Andrew 23 05 16

I went out after mowing yesterday afternoon and shot these, processed this morning as I was unable to keep my eyes open last night.

All lovely Andrew don’t no what they are called but I love 3 and 4 the purple and yellow ones and the second last purple one lovely 👍

All irises Paul. Those ones are miniatures though and not the tall ones.

I am happy to hear that you slept last night, Andrew. I hope it was uninterrupted until you got enough. I had bad dreams about signing final papers tomorrow.
I love irises and you have some of the most beautiful I've seen. The purple/yellow/white one is stunning. Is #10 a tulip? I'd like to see that one when open.

It's been foggy / overcast for a week, with just a few peeks at the sun. I am about to post some fog pictures. I can get flowers but the very cool light dampens their color unless I use the supplementary LED light set to around 3500° K. Rich

Only about five hours sleep Rich. Still tired.

The tenth is a tulip. I can not recall if those ones actually open.

It will be nice for you when it all comes to a close.

Took our son to the airport in TO Sunday. He flew to St. Louis for work. I am supposed to pick him up Friday but the pilots for the airline voted to go on strike so that is up in the air. He could be stuck there until he can get a flight unless the pilots settle.

Nice garden, Andrew .... in full bloom it seems .. our roses have just bloomed but many of the flowers haven't shown up yet … I hope this activity means your back is relaxing a bit …

I do want to thank you for your comment over in the Critique Thread/forum … I meant to do it sooner. I have a problem over there as I lose track of the conversation quickly as the thread fills ...and I just read randomly from the thread … for the conversation I like where we are better .. the single thread without being a threaded organization doesn't lend itself well to much discussion other than maybe one or two that dominated the conversation over there …..

The pain has increased foday. I stood too long on Monday afternoon.

We have a lot of flowers that are to come yet. The flowering trees are coming to an end.

I am with you on the mess in the Weekly C&C thread. It becomes too difficult to follow especially when dominated by three new contributors. I guess it underlines the saying ‘be careful what you wish for’. I do miss the regular and irregular participants from our thread at DPR.
