We did spend our summer holiday (2019) in western part of Canada. Went for a roadtrip through Alberta and British Columbia. It was one of our most special holiday trips ever. Canada is an amazing country. We did love the many national parks and regional parks we visited. and haven't seen it all so we might go back some day

In Whistler at the Blackcomb mountain side we spotted the so called whistlers also known as a hoary marmot.
As far as I know these "little" marmots are the reason why Whistler is called Whistler

We did travel with some of our analog gear. a Canon Eos 1N and a Canon Eos 3
    Used a Canon Eos 1N for color film only (Fuji Superia X-tra 400) and a Canon Eos 3 for B/W film.(Ilford XP2 Super 400)
Also decided to take only film that could be developed with the standard C41 process because I didn't want to have undeveloped film taken back to the Netherlands, so developing these films was done by London Drugs Photolab in Vancouver on one of the last days before flying back to home.

Love the B&W photo. Whistler and the area is beautiful. We try to get up there for skiing as much as possible. And yes, best to get the film processed before travel. I’m trying to figure out how to handle film when we go to London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich and Köln this summer.
