Show me a link to the post you made that responded to my comments on the histograms not matching.

Nonsense. You haven't done a proper test, posted some select images instead, and your in-camera histograms were clipped.

not wasting my time with no threaded view.

of cause they were clipped ,that was the whole idea. showing the fine clipping meant so you and jim couldnt disprove the accuracy. as it showed hard evidence.

    By how much, in EV?

That's not the reason. Your own screenshots disprove the accuracy of in-camera histogram and totally destroy your guesswork.

Then I remain skeptical that you did that.

Good , now answer my last question .

are you suffering memory loss ? thats the question i put up.

I am not aware that you have asked me a question I haven't answered.

The jpeg image is shown near instant in my evf or lcd from memory 1/120 sec . the live histogram/zebras takes 1.5 secs to show a reading.

Your not going to respond to this ?

Is that a question? It seems like an assertion to me.

so with all your testing you never noticed ? hmmm.... sounds like your testing is not very deep.

There you go with the insults again. I found the live histogram to be visually synched with the preview image in the viewfinder when I used Sony cameras. There was no 1.5 second delay. You could move the camera around and the histogram updated in real time as you changed what the camera was pointing at. Your camera is behaving differently from any of the Sony's I've tested if there's a 1.5 second lag for the live histogram and the live zebras.

And that's not the result of shallow testing.

Let's not discuss who has the memory loss here :))
I answered several times that you need to do proper testing to determine the facts and post full results.
I also told you 1/3 EV is your guesswork, and it's incorrect.

He may be experiencing unusual delays due to exotic camera setup. I never checked all combinations of parameters.

Please do us a favor and review the work you have already done, review what Jim has said about the differences in your posted raw and back of the camera histograms, ( you have several) and they all show the very opposite to what you are stating.
It is all there for everyone to see, we all see the difference plane as day, It has been described several times to you and here we are again.

    Who's on first?
