A small reservoir, 1 1/2 mi. from home, has a half dozen Ospreys' almost any day. If you wait awhile, usually a half hour or so, something will happen. Yesterday I hiked down to the waters edge and spied an Eagle in the trees. A small branch was in front of it's face so had to hike a half mile for a different angle. By then the light was fading fast. It was 170 yds. away so the detail isn't the best and I had to crop, even with the 600. But I did like the background.

Then just a half mile from home, there in the shadows beside the road, inside the city limits, at a railroad crossing sits what I thought at first was a Vulture. Looking closer I realized it was a juvenile Eagle. It didn't have the distinctive pure white of an adult, or the smarts, considering where it was sitting. Extremely busy ugly surroundings and I'd prefer it to be sitting on a limb. Oh well, it's catching the last rays of sunset, even got a little "catch light" in the eye.

Very attractive lighting on the second. You might want to make them a bit brighter and if there is an issue with the whites, then only bring up the shadows. Nice compostions.
