    Mocha,

We see another excellent series of photos.

    Hi Digirame, Thank You.

For the first time since June the Sun has decided to shine upon us, we're now seeing 25-26 Deg. C. 79F. These are June figures. We're now seeing lots of butterflies and we've got September light. YAY. 👍

    Photobygms,

Thanks. The coastal fog is normal all along the West Coast during the summer months, when our standard rains are absent. Some trees capture moisture from it like the coastal Redwoods and Torrey Pines near San Diego. The fog moisture drips from it.

But this year has been a little different, where Washington, Oregon and California have gotten extra summer rains. You might have heard of some flooding that we had. So saying that...you may be right. 😀

    Photobygms,

I like seeing your "tourist" photos and areas that you show us during your hikes. Old castles are fascinating for us that live in the "New World", since there are very few of them. People have built castles here like Scotty's Castle in Death Valley, California, but they are not the same as in the "Old Country". To appreciate your photos more, I found the larger views are the best.

    Mocha,

That's great you have nice weather. After a long hot summer, we are finally starting to have some rain where I live, including some thunder and lightning.

    Mocha,

Thanks. I like capturing that coastal fog/cloud on Tillamook Head. Once I saw a somewhat similar cloud cap on Mt. Hood in the summer. That was interesting to photograph too.

    Subject: Wood Ducks

Since we had some rain, I was wondering if that might have brought back the wood ducks to our area. Well, I did find them today. Here's a couple of pictures. The background is white because we had cloudy skies and that was reflected onto the water. The ISO was high for the same reason; it was dark because of the cloud cover.

Photo No. 1 - This is a young female Wood Duck.

Photo No. 2 - And we see a young male Wood Duck.

Would probably make an excellent lens for strolling through some antique shops... that being said, they might suspect i'm stealing a mug/chalice, when they see the lens 😂:
