    David,

I like the second horse chestnut the best. The shadow looks better on the right side like that.

    Steve,

I like the color photo the best. Seeing blue sky with white clouds is a good thing!

Yes. Black and white changes optimistic blue skies into gloomy dark grey or black, and this is my prime reason for not enjoying B&W. In cityscapes under natural light, when it is raining or otherwise miserable or melancholy, B&W enhances this sadness The situation can be transformed by means of well-directed artificial light, as in the pre war movies.

So this will be the last part of our Luxemburg photos.
We getting ready to leave Luxemburg and have a stop for a few days in the southern part of the Netherlands.

The tunnel above used to be a railroad tunnel for half a century until 1954 and was part of "Charly" a narrow-gauge railway line between Luxembourg (city) and Echternach nowadays it's a cycle path

I have enjoyed this series of photos. Thank you!

The tunnel looks very cool, in both senses. How long is it?

Will it ever become a tree? 😉 @davidwien

That tunnel is about 205m long with a light curvature

Very nice set of images - this one‘s probably my favorite. Quite a lot to see and interesting composition-wise! Your HDR shot also works great, I‘d say. Well done!

    Photobygms,

Thanks for sharing with us your Luxembourg photos. The forest look so dense. That's an interesting tunnel with the archways.

    David,

OK...we see one more horse chestnut with less shadows. That's the best one. 😀

It is the same horse chestnut -- just a few days older and in natural light this time.

That looks like a happy rabbit. So, what happened last night? Was the rabbit having fun at the party? 😀

And back in the Netherlands, not yet back at home, still a few days in the southern part.
And we did go out for a hike again.
One difference is clear, no small trails between rocks but the wider trails and less height difference 😀
