Subject: Afternoon Clouds

Steve has shown some interesting photos of cloud formations. I saw some yesterday while looking for wildlife that I thought I would share.

Photo No. 1 - We didn't have rain this time, but I most always carry umbrellas just in case. This is a color photograph even though it looks like B&W.

Photo No. 2 - This is also a color photograph. It looks like storm clouds, but we are not expected to get the autumn rains for a while.

@fotoword those are beautiful pelican shots.

This is my favourite of the trio... superb shot.

That first photo reminds me of one of the Disney princeses (in one of the remakes).

This large, flat rock ... at the water's edge is said to be the sire from which Donald McBane, a Redcoat soldier fleeing the Battle of Killiecrankie, leapt 5.5 metres/18 feet across the River Garry while being persued by Jacobite clansmen.
Not much of a photo, but I thought I might as well show it.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to take the first one without the black tape by being close. Also you might notice that I caught two ladies on the far-left lower side. I thought that was neat also. Later they removed the black tape temporarily for the photographers (as seen in photos 7, 8 and 9).
