Oh look. There's a giant bird flying past the bottom of my frame.
    Don't tell me I can't do BIF!

    Steve,

What kind of bird is that? Is a Birdus Clouditus? LOL 😀 You have lovely clouds.

    Dig,

Nice lake shots. You did good with the framing shots and good use of the foreground.

The patterns in the sand would make good abstracts in and of themselves.

    Steve,

Thanks. I did like the patterns a lot. We are going to get a good rainstorm tomorrow, so the lake should start filling up soon. It's actually a reservoir; I should have mentioned that.

Cool film shots, I really enjoyed them. #3 is my favourite.
The Canon 1V was Canon's top SLR, wasn't it?

@DaveNJ that's a superb plane shot coming from the M200. Great work.

You must be getting a lot of nice, shiny chestnuts David.

Great lake photos Digirame. They remind me of a lake I visited last year - low water levels, watercraft, that similar sort of view (through bushes).

    Dunlin,

Thanks. As much as we like clear skies and sunny days, it's nice to get the rain back after a long dry season. We are now starting to get regular rainstorms.

    Simplejoy,

Thanks. Getting this picture was a little harder than it looks. Other nearby flowers had holes or blemishes. Then there were other flowers that were in the background. I tried to move them but they would spring back. I "twisted and turned" myself until I got this one. It's amazing how little you have to move to change what you see in the background. Sometimes only an inch makes all the difference.

    OpenCube,

This photo looks neat with the couple having the same colored clothes as the trees and vegetation.

It was pretty foggy this morning. I used a Cloudy White Balance.
