    Thanks Dunlin,

It was good to be able to get a few more photos from the "free" area. 😀 I recognized the F22 Raptor right away.

    Dunlin,

Thanks for noticing the Gadwall ducks and the rose flowers. There's much more roses to be expected as we approach summer.

    Dunlin,

That's neat that you were able to visit the Knole Estate. I like that you were able to see so much of it, from outside to inside. That must be expensive to maintain; that's what I appreciate. It must be a lot of work to keep it looking nice.

    Mocha,

Thanks for noticing the rose flowers. I have so many more photos of other flowers that I'll probably show next week. This is a pretty time of year for us in late spring.

You make ordinary things interesting with the softness. It's like what we may see in a dream.

We’re in trouble. Quebec wildfires are everywhere. More than 160 active ones. Smoke everywhere. We’re in a drought. In the past years, we’ve had several abnormal climatic events. No rain in sight.

Aside from smoke, my area is spared

    Benji,

I'm sorry to hear that. It looks similar to what we had in September of 2020. I took a lot of pictures. The first evening it looked interesting with the smoke designs in the sky. After that it got worse, where at ground level the smoke was like what we see in your photo. I took pictures of the sun too, like you show.

Seems like we’ll be getting help from Australia and other countries. I drove through crop fields two days ago and it was already critical, you know, the yellow grass, dust in the wind.

Simply stunning. The colors, details (and lack thereof) works great. I would personally love to see the 2nd picture of the flower in more focus.

    CarryLight,

I like that not only were you able to capture the clouds with the dark sky, but I see you caught the sunshine on the water. It's great when we are able to capture these lights and shadows together. Well done!!!

Subject: How To Share Many Photos

I thought I would share with you all how to share many photos quickly, such I have done with the rose flowers and air show photos. What I do, is resize them so they don't take up much space and for other reasons. I create a special folder for them on my computer. I rename them in alphanumeric order, so they will appear here like I would want. Then when I push the arrow above, I use Ctrl-A to select all the photos in the folder and all of them will be loaded here all at once. It's super fast. You can embed them here too.

Since the EXIF data produced by DPRevived is not always consistent, I wrote my own program to show select EXIF data here for my Canon T7i (800D) and Canon M50-2 cameras. For the Canon M50-2 camera, sometimes the EXIF data shows an extra camera temperature over 120 C which does not make sense (and messes up my program). So I wrote some more code to find that anomaly and remove it. I had fun making that yesterday. I wrote the code in MS Word, which I rarely do, so I enjoyed learning this new syntax. But the principles of coding are pretty much the same, so I could figure things out relatively fast. I would share that with anyone, if they were interested. There's many other ways to do it. It was just something I stumbled upon and found it worked to my amazement in MS Word.

Anyway, writing code may not be your thing, but you can at least load up many pictures quickly at the same time with how I described it. Again, it would be in the order you want by first creating that in your folder on your computer. I thought I would share that with you. I hope I described it correctly. Let us know any of your tricks or tips on how to present photos easily here too. 😀

It is with some diffidence, on account of Digirame's excellent and manifold rose photos, that I show what I found in the Volksgarten the other day.

Most of the roses were just at their peak, so a few general shots:

As before, the red roses were in the best condition. These were my best detailed shots:
