Hi davidwien,
I like the contrasting colours.
Hi davidwien,
I like the contrasting colours.
Hi simplejoy,
There's beauty in your chaos. 😃
@davidwien
Sorry for calling you "Austrian" before. Not that it's an insult (I hope...) but after I've visited your interesting website, I've seen that you're only based in Austria at the moment. Very interesting work that you do! I love piano and organ music and am a musician myself however only a hobbyist 😅.
Great shot with beautiful colors!
Hi stevet1,
Love the Iris, if you can give the head of the plant more contrast this will help them to stand out, the grass would of given you more contrast. It's worth a try.
Hi Photobygms,
Love the colours in your photo.
Hi Digirame,
That's a stunning Rose. I'm still looking for my first wild rose of the season.
When we go out for a hike or on holiday or any occasion where a camera can and is allowed to be used with out problems we do carry at least one per person.
And most of the time it's two DSLRs (5DIV and 6DII) two MLC's (R and RP) and a Canon Eos 1V. And sometimes another analog Canon Eos 3 is used also.

Thanks both 👍
This one is the best of a few I did take, Others with F2, F2.8 and F3.5 did work out the way I wanted
And to add: no photoshop or any other program used, just DPP.
Cool.
I like this one - nice work.
Superb photos mocha, my favourite is the damselfly. I haven't seen any yet this year.
Hi Mocha!
Lovely pictures all; but I like this one best. It would encourage me to walk -- even in the rain, which is not my favourite activity in the city!
Thanks for sharing.
David
Dunlin,
Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize that Mother's Day was different either.
David,
Thanks. I go to the International Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon for most of my rose pictures. They have quite a selection, so I have a lot of good ones to choose from.
Steve,
The Iris flowers are by themselves. Did someone plant them there? It's nice to see the blackberry flowers. We have lots of blackberry bushes too. They grow best in bright sunlight.
Steve,
You can read about the depth of field on the internet. Yes, stopping down the lens (with a smaller aperture) can help with that, so that more things are sharp.
Photobygms,
That's an adorable little robin when I viewed it at the larger size.
