Simplejoy,
Your photos are impressive. That's interesting about focus stacking. I've never done that.

Steve,
I'm glad you have joined us with some flowers. 😀 If the wife says they are Columbines, that must be what they are. 😀 Were they growing wild?
I'm probably not supposed to, but I like the second one best.
Cool photo.
Thanks for sharing that extra info.
Hi Dunlin,
Super set of the steam trains. That's interesting about the banana carriage.
Hi stevet1,
I'll second that, they are indeed Columbines. Nice shots.
Hi simplejoy,
That's a superb photo.
Hi Digirame,
Love the shot of the wild rose. Beautiful colours.
Hi davidwien,
Super photos of the Roses, was it the reds that were clipping??
Thanks Mocha,
I think it was you that mentioned something about wild roses previously. So when I saw them, I thought I would try to make something out of them. They were really small on that bush.
The weather has not improved here yet. The rain has stopped but the skies are dark.
Here are the other photos I took on the day when I went to the rose garden.
The first is a chimney stack on a roof near where I live:
A putti, with what look like bagpipes, on the top of the Burgtheater:
A grotesque on the Burgtheater:
A little further up the Ringstrasse, opposite the university, a golden lady on top of a pillar:
Behind her, part of the pre-1830 city wall -- a Bastei. If you look carefully, you can see a red and white flag marking one of Beethoven's many apartments (the Pasqualati House). I left the cars in to show the scale:

David,
I like seeing your photos. They look sharp. The statues and architecture are neat to see. Also...that chimney stack is interesting. I don't know if we have anything like that here where I live.
Photobygms,
Ah yes...the dandelion. I've taken pictures of both the flower and seeds lately also. There's beauty to be found with such a lawn pest. 😀
Very interesting capture and I like the format!
Nice shot - I like the colors and POV! And I love dandelions as well, they are so versatile.
Thanks mocha.
Here's something different...
Did I just glue a lens to my hands? by simple.joy, on Flickr
While not real of course, I guess it could happen to some of the people who tend to frequent the Adapted Lens Talk part of the forum (including me). 😅
Hi simplejoy,
My guess is that you took the picture, with the lens rested on your hand. Then you flipped the photo around with software.
