I've had no problem using a 2TB Angelbird AV Pro Mk2 card in my Z9. Has anyone had success using larger capacity cards?

I'm starting to see 4TB CFExpress cards, albeit rather expensive, and of course there's the M.2 to CFExpress adapters that would make a 4TB card not expensive at all that I'm interested in too.

Does anyone have good or bad experience with using the M.2 CFExpress adapters for using m.2 SSD's - I'm mostly thinking of using this purely as an offload / backup to copy from my 2TB card, rather than using this for in-field shooting, but it would be easier, smaller, and cheaper, than any other large capacity backup or offload solution. Now that M.2 4TB cards can be had for $200 and the adapters range from $30-200 I'm wondering about this path for 4TB of offline capacity.

4tb? I remember using 512mb in my old Canon D30 thinking what a huge card it was…LOL.

The Z bodies that use XQD/CFx B cards format the cards to exFAT for anything 64G or above (but for 32G XQD cards, they format them to FAT32). The file size limit for exFAT is huge. I don't think 4T, 8T cards would post any issues to the Z9, but of course you need to test it before you know for sure.
