Hi y'all, I am not sure where this thread be, it seem a new ZV camera body will be released soon, the original ZV-10 was an APS-C body, the new one would be a full frame with A7S III sensor, is anybody looking forward to this camera?

It's an interesting idea, and seems to combine several different elements from Sony's past releases.

While I doubt I'll be in the market for it (other priorities), it's certainly food for thought - not least about Sony's overall strategy and roadmap. I like that they are not standing still and keep trying new twists, even if not all of them appeal to every segment of their (existing) user base.

I see it's now been announced. Looks surprisingly compact for a FF camera.

The announcement has a very heavy emphasis on vlogging, which I suppose is to be expected. As a FF offering, it will be a nice step up from the usual fare WRT compact vlogger options. Basically looks to be a scaled down a7Siii in most respects, not just the sensor!

I'm not in the market for it at the moment, but I like the look of it. It could sell well.
I'm scratching my head as to the purpose of the FX30 now, other than its array of mount points.

Yes, it's really tiny. The reduced form factor and weight would appeal to the young people, also I can see the camera for streaming use. Really, Sony is pushing for the video market share.

From listening to an interview with the Sony Product Planner it sounds like the FX30 is their foray into attracting people, moving up from their phones, as a starting point into the Sony Cine line. The optional XLR handle, 4K oversampled from 6K, CineEI, 4K 120p out of the box (with a pretty significant crop). The ZV-E1 seems more like and end point for vloggers. But this is all just my opinion and it is worth the paper it is printed on :)
