Linking images as opposed to uploading would certainly help keep server requirements lower and hopefully costs as well. Did copy the link from Flickr or use the
BBcode? That's a nice image Michael. I miss being able to see the EXIF data on the images like at DPR. I find it helpful and informative to see how a shot was made. Where did you shoot this and what is this place?
With the arrow to the right at the bottom of the photo on Flickr
In the little box that appears, Use BBcode and the desired definition
And post the links here, and press Preview to see the result
Then by clicking on the photo you will be able to see the Exif on Flickr
Thanks. I followed the download link on flickr, then right click>open in new tab, such that the web address displayed only the image, with the address ending in .jpg - I copied that into my post.
I completely understand missing the EXIF - I'm a bit of an outlier on this and actually prefer not to know, I actively hide those details on my flickr.
This image was taken at the Port Arthur Historic site in Tasmania. This building was a solitary confinement area.
EXIF is - 50r, Voigtlander 40/2 slii, ISO 100, SS 1/360, f/not sure (manual lens) probably f/8.
Check out Exify browser extension (for chrome andfirefox).
Also for Firefox there is an extension called xIFr, it can show exif in a small window by right clicking the photo.
I dunno yet, I don't like this site's lay-out at all. DPR Forum is much more to my liking: it somehow feels familiar.
Anyway, I'll stick to getDPI and see how things here develop.

Me, too. In the 3 years I've been on DPReview, visible EXIF taught me a huge lesson about needless expense in fancy gear as well as providing much illumination of the merits of humbler gear well used.
