Alan, keep us informed. I don't know about anyone else, but I consider "ThePhoto" a must have since it is a rate example of a photography that is devoted to "the photographic image."

I have £ on the second level Numbers and Symbols screen on this Droid phone.
It is press and hold the Alt key then enter 0163 on a PC keyboard. IIRC. It has been some time since I used that....

That would be in the Numeric Keys? For the iPad, £ is under the ABC .?123 key.

I'm not sure if a USA keyboard has the £ sign on it. If you have a number pad, Alt-156 (hold down the Alt key and type "156") will give it.

Hi,
Yes, press and hold the Alt key on the IBM keyboard and enter the number with the number pad. The Alt key gives another set of characters and the Ctrl key gives another set as well. I have laminated charts somewhere for those. As I mentioned, it has been a while since I used them.

Yes, this Site supports the UniCode character set and, as has been said a time or two, most keyboards (not mine, no number pad) can use "Alt+" to type in all manner of non-ASCII characters.
On the other hand, one can go here to copy a quid sign for pasting into the editor:

Seems ok for me atm - I never posted earlier so never saw it.
However the site wasn't reachable a few hours ago (which is rare) - of course that could be a local routing issue this end or the site end.

It's a Firefox issue, I've just found out. It's doing something weird to the symbols.

Haven't seen it ,using Firefox on different machines (PC, laptops, mobile)
Did have an error on the site a few hours back like Bryan also mentioned.

DPRevived was broken for 12 Hours earlier. it was inaccessible for me but it’s up now. I had to DM Alan and Arvo from DPR. lol.

and it's just one machine. My other ones work fine. Very confusing.

Rebooting the PC fixed the issue. God knows what Firefox is doing but it must interact with the display driver somewhere and that got corrupted.
