I will come back another day to photograph this.
When you do, things are different, and the shot is impossible.
I went back another day to shoot this, but it had blown down and had already been sawed up for removal.

Hi,
I usually have to go back to get my lighthouse shots. First trip a scouting trip. Figure out what I need to do. Second trip for the actual shot. Or the third trip. Or the fourth. Weather can become an issue. Sometimes, the ocean removes the road by the time I get there. Each trip was once a full day. The trips are longer now that I have all the NC houses and am working up and down the Atlantic seaboard.

If the subject is in your own town, going back another time of day or season can be a nice surprise when the light is from a different angle.

A great pity. I hope it was only cut down because it was diseased. Otherwise it was criminal and wanton destruction.
Luckily, there is nothing wrong with your photo!

You will always have the 'wrong' lens on the camera to capture that once in a lifetime moment
Hi,
Mother Nature is always committing wanton destruction....
All we can do about it is clean up.
