I expect to see plenty of my favourite insects from you... 😉

Well, then we'll have to forget about dragonflies in flight for a while. At most, we might see one caught off guard on its perch...
Small, lanky, and black. Well, until I saw it enlarged on the screen...
Nice colours there when viewed up close. That would be a subject I would seek out if we had them here.
Bryan, here's the first one of the season...
Nice specimen too. I was just thinking yesterday, as I was walking past my best spot, how long it might be before they return - a lot of months yet...
Hi Bryan, I'm sure you'll find something interesting while they're coming back...
Amazing capture!👍
¡Muchas gracias!

Yes. Nice background separation and the stalks frame it well.
I read all the talk off FF giving good separation, but really it's just a function of f-stop, focal length and distance between the subject. FF may provide more scope but it doesn't own that space. Shooting mostly with a 100-400mm on m43 I generally don't have to think about it.
Small "Fisheye lens".
That's quite incredible how the scene is captured in the drop but completely out of focus in the background...
Small "Fisheye lens".
Absolutely amazing!

Drops always have that special something, containing tiny worlds within them. Furthermore, your image has a beautiful minimalist composition and pleasing colors...
