Street Cobblers - Even when Business is good, there is going to be low demand? I haven’t been to such a cobbler for a long time.

These two haven’t been seen. Earlier like last year or more I saw evidence of one of them (right side) were still active.

The cobbler on the Left had not been seen at at all for a long time.

There are additionally, commercial ones, mostly they repair office shoes (formal) not sneakers.

While I was in the area, I saw a Woman talking to a Man who walked away he may or may not have been the cobbler.

She was pointing to the soles of her shoes.

For the Brits here, they may remember the Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town - Cobblers to the Queen (a sign above a shop window). To the non Brits, this will make absolutely no sense

I remember The Two Ronnies but not the Episodes. They were very funny.

Is the phrase "a load of cobblers" still used over there in GB?

The hardware shop episode was good ... endless misunderstandings of DIY terminology ,,, not unlike some threads here LOL.

I remember confusion between "fork handle" and "four candles" ...
