Welcome all to the Sunday Cat!, a weekly gathering of image makers on a subject of mutual interest, our feline friends. The Sunday Cat! has appeared each Sunday, except for a brief interruption in September, 2016, since Anton AK started the thread at DPReview on 23 September 2007. Successive thread managers have been John King, Warriormouse, Robert J, Coldamus, Robert J again (with an assist by StanTsui) and since September 2016, former lurker, me. With the announced shuttering of DPReview (which did not happen), the last Sunday Cat! there was hosted on 2 April 2023. After taking a leap of faith, the Sunday Cat! landed here at its new home on 9 April 2023.

I hope you'll find further images that you wish to share here. :) At this point it seems that I'm destined to only come up for air on Saturday, and not much before that, so please follow the link back and you'll find that I did get a chance to add some comments to last week's thread. That said, it's off to see who might stop by in the week ahead. :D

KitKat a few years back .. No particular order or story as I bring back some old pictures of friendly cats when they were younger ....

Looks like our current political situation.
Lets learn to get along, Mokey on right and Lexi proving coexistence is possible. A solution can be found!

But they don't seem to be seeing eye to eye. ;)

Even in her youth she is an elegant kitty.

Chinese New Year is almost over, but it is never too late for the cats to take part in the festivities.

It's been a wile but Kitty is feeling at home...she comes to us now and squeaks at us, rubs against us and occasionally sits on us. She won't go out and stays in the kitchen...

Ebony seems a little surprised by the contrast of orange to black. Bennie also seems to have found a moment of contrasts, the colorful bag that offsets his color and markings very nicely. :)

Now yes. From being scared of her own shadow we can now pick her up, stroke her...she's a cutie
