This is the weekly Collegial Show Your Photos Any Brand thread where we invite you to show your own pictures. It is collegial in that it is a pleasant and friendly place among photographers to share.

I will begin this thread each Monday (Pacific Standard Time) to give each of you all the chance to share your weekend photos with us, for those that follow a regular work week schedule and choose to do it that way. But the pictures can be taken at any time with any camera, including your cell phone. It's open to all skill levels from beginners to advanced. The images posted can be anything from casual snaps to extraordinary. I'll be sure to comment to each of your photos, if you choose to share. Replies from others are encouraged also.

The intent of this thread to mainly to just show photos in a relaxed way and to generate replies or comments about them. Generally I'm not planning to critique any image unless asked. But I or we may ask things about a photo that may develop into a discussion, always being friendly and helpful. It has been a request that I mention this and from what I've learned from past experience: Can you ask a member first if they would mind you editing their photos?

Remember it's all about the enjoyment of taking pictures regardless of what we have. We can learn from each. Please share any tips or techniques too. A narrative sometimes also helps. Thanks everyone for your participation.

    Subject: Looking For Wildlife

On March 18, 2026 and April 21, 2026 I went out looking for wildlife in a wetlands area. I did not see anything much except for some swallows. They left before I could get some good photos of them. I got a few, but I wasn't satisfied with the quality.

The first six photos that I show here were taken on March 18th when there was some flooding. So I was not able to travel far. The next eight photos were taken after the flooding had subsided, so I was able to travel further to look for some more wildlife.

Photo No. 1 - This shows the flooding on March 18th.

Photo No. 3 - Even with all the flooding I did find a path that I could walk on, along a river.

Even without wildlife I do like the adventure you had 😁
Look like an area with more to explore, perhaps with wellies 😜

And after a week at the beach in Domburg Zeeland we're back home.
It has been a nice week with a lot of sun, sea and sand 😎
Now the weather has changed, cloudy and lower temperatures, but we did go out, but took our bikes and visited National Park Dwingelderveld again.
Did visited some new areas during this bike tour.

And a moving shot (took this one while riding on my bike) with the RF28mm pancake
A creative moment 😂 trees are in focus and the out of focus areas are "moving"

    Photobygms,

It's nice to see your photos again. I hope you had a great holiday at the beach.

I like seeing the long trails and the different types of photos that you show us, from heavily forested areas to wide open spaces. It's nice to see all of the green leaves again. We look forward to summer. 😀

I've been posting a few photos in different threads from a recent trip to Peru. Here are a few odds and sods that I have just been processing. I normally take landscape and nature pics but was forced into some cityscape and street photography because of the itinerary

A Vicuna that had literally just birthed...

    Softmarmotte,

That's great to see the photo of the mother Vicuna and its newly born. I read it's the national animal of Peru. I like seeing your street photos too. Occasionally, I'll take a few of them also near where I live, especially when summer gets near.

There's another thing that's interesting to me about two of your pictures. I don't know if anyone thought about it much. The small truck in two of the images is identified as a Datsun on the windshield (windscreen). That was the last name the manufacturer used before changing the name to Nissan. I assume that means the truck is older than 1987. We almost never see Japanese cars where I live that old.
