It’s an interesting show. I particularly liked the shot with the kid and lights; you captured it really well. Olympus’s gear is so good, especially their weather sealing and IBIS. Laser war is interesting but I was never going to try to take a picture of it!

I've been eyeing up the OM3 - a few less grams than the OM1 which is vital for me, but will have to hang on for a few months until our major house renovation is completed and I can see if we have any cash left!! Size creep is an annoying feature of cameras today, as well as for cars.
We didn't have much problem with midges. They don't like actual falling rain, and any wind keeps them at bay. By September they're giving up anyway 😁

Great sceneries, too bad that weather was uncooperative.
My main issue with Olympus/OM System cameras in rain is that water gets into eye sensor and automatic switch between LCD and EVF does not work any more. And these buttons, dials and levers are hard to handle with wet or frozen fingers, it's little use of weatherproof and freezeproof camera when handling is very hard or literally painful in these conditions... -
Seems to be really high by deciding from focal lenght used... I wonder if these markings on tree are caused by koala's claws?

These first 3 shots for me, maybe because they are earliest with rising sun light doing its magic? First is winning here with its fog and rolling hills, second is with great green-yellow transition across frame thanks to slight mist and third with its hint of autumn behind those tree trunks is magnificent.

Yes, all hand-held. Using tripod in such dark environment where lot of people wander around could be hazardous.

In OM-3 third of body volume is occupied by its battery, this is price to pay for longevity and all these power-hungry computational and "AI-subject detection" features, I guess. And it's about same size as original Olympus OM film cameras, I have OM-2 and they are same within few millimeters, I guess that was one of deciding factors in design.

Olympic Sculpture Park. 12 zodiac head sculptures arranged in an arc/semicircle. Each animal in "Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads" stands over ten feet tall (3 m) and weighs over 1500 pounds (680 kg). The sculptures are installed in order of the traditional Chinese zodiac cycle: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar. By Ai Weiwei (2010). It was a quick walk (with another person) and I didn't want to slow things down too much. So, I looked-up the info afterwards. Had I known what it was, I would have stepped-back to include all 12 (there's only 10 in the pic). Oh well... it was a nice afternoon walk! 😀
