Oh... that really cool. :-) What and where?

Believe it or not, this is the engineering building at the Florida Polytechnic Institute.

It was designed by this guy.

Ahhhhhhh yes. As someone who really likes engineering aesthetics, I am familiar with Calatrava. THANKS for the info.

Good shot. You've found some great geometric patterns here and there's lots of "natural" contrast. Ideal subject for B&W.

    A couple of weather images.

    DSCF3855.jpeg

At first I thought it was downpour of hard rain, but a look at the street says it must be snow.
A good "action" shot. Well captured!

There's a small village near where I live which (to me) cries out for B&W images.

You heard the cries and did well here. Looks very good, what's the village?

    The winding Nockalmstrasse,

This road is in Carinthia, Austria.
I spent quite a while studying the maps to find the right place to get a good view then hiked up and got this shot just in time.
A few moments after the shot a storm came from nowhere. There were only small hailstones, but it makes you appreciate that mountains can be dangerous.

Really nice. Super duper IQ. Perfect for B&W.

    Thanks :-)

Over on the right... the good pavement appears to stop. Then what? Gravel? Very cool pic.

If I remember rightly the "white" part of the road is concrete, while the darker part is tarmac. looks like some of the concrete road has been maintained with patches of tarmac too.
This toll road is 34km long and has 52 such hair pin bends. Great to drive along with some fantastic views along the way. It's about 2000m above sea level and goes over the mountain from Ebene Reichenau to Innerkrems. There's several opportunities to stop for hiking and a few mountain huts for refreshments.

The road is loved by motorcycles and sports cars. Here's a crop of the original image, and if you zoom in to the hi-res version you can see 4 of those tiny looking sports cars and a motorbike.

...and here's a closer shot of a blue sports car from a slightly different vantage point.
    Maybe someone can identify it?

Looks like a Lamborghini Huracán Spyder -- but I am not an expert in knowing the modern sports cars. Ask me about cars from the 70's and 80's and up through the early 00's -- those I can usually ID fairly easily! I must say... the Z7's IQ is superb. And I suppose the lenses, too. That's what I noticed about your initial post. The crispness.

    ChatGPT says:

    Quoted message:

this looks very much like a Lamborghini Huracán Spyder, most likely a Huracán EVO Spyder.

    Here are the clues:

Rear shape: The wide, low stance and the angular rear end are characteristic of the Huracán.
Convertible: The roof is down, matching the Spyder version.
Taillights: The slim, horizontal taillights fit the Huracán design.
Engine cover: The louvered engine cover behind the seats is typical of the Spyder.
Aftermarket rear wing: The large fixed rear wing is not standard on most Huracán Spyders, suggesting it has been modified or is a special edition.
