Nice shapes but I'd crop the left to provide symmetry.

A good record of a very pretty village. This gate is as mad as the one I posted a few weeks back.

Yes, silent witnesses. I like the twist in the last.

Sounds like a plan but I'd also have to factor in a Nikon camera :-)

No, a €10 filter ring adapter from Amazon, and it will work perfectly with a Sony camera and a Sony mount 50mm macro lens. Kaiser make a generic version, with a 52 and 58mm filter thread fitting, but it only has a carrier for slides.

The color/tone plus the reflection and low angle are great.

EXCELLENT! Very well done. I also have the ES-2 and I use it with the 60mm 2.8 lens. Much better/faster, more convenient, and higher quality than the scanner I was using a few years ago (even though it was a top-of-the line scanner).

I like the variety and the colors. I'd like to visit the folks in the house with the boats in the window... I'm sure we'd get along! LOL. Thanks for the tour! I will have to look-up the (Swedish) fairy-tale books I had as a child and check the author.

The deep history... very interesting. My dad planted a pink hawthorn for my mom in the yard where I grew up. I remember it.

Ah! I see how it works now. I assumed the gizmo fitted onto the lens mount like the Ohnar did. Wonder if the Sony has a negative digitizer setting - that's really cool. I need it firstly for my Kodachrome slides but might dabble with negatives later. I have some plastic and card mounts on them, are they too thick? Seems a shame to have to remove each slide from its holder.

Update - Sony doesn't but there are Lightroom plugins available.

SEAFAIR HYDROS: From a week ago (Sunday) here are a whole bunch of images (much more than I usually post). The annual hydroplane race has a 75+ year history in Seattle (first race was in 1950). When I was a little kid, it was the biggest summertime event BY FAR. In the mid/late-1960's, all the boys made little wooden hydros, tied them with a string to our bicycles, and pulled them around the neighborhood. It was the best of times. There are 8 pictures of the active racers and 7 pictures of the vintage boats (exhibition). As I said, a lot of pictures. Sorry for the volume/quantity, but it was hard to weed them out and hard to guess what might be of interest to others. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough reach (max. 400mm) and I should have increased the shutter speed as some of the pics were not as sharp as they should have been.

I think these pics where the background is hidden make the best shots. That looks fun. The boats took me back down memory lane to a kid's TV show I loved called stingray. Don't think you had it across the pond.
